Alumnae Council presents…
The Young Alumnae Awards
Purpose: To recognize traditional
aged alumnae who have graduated in the last fifteen years for outstanding
professional achievement.
Criteria: A traditional
aged Women's College graduate from the past 15 years or less.
Outstanding achievement in a chosen
profession demonstrated in one or more of the following ways:
- Promotion
- Recognition by employer or peers
- Honor organizations
- Public appearances
- Expertise in field
- Leadership in professional organizations
- Continued education
Nomination: Anyone may nominate an
alumna by completing the nomination form,
which includes information about her professional achievements. The
necessary background information must be provided.
Selection: A committee of four
Student Alumnae Council members and two alumnae will select the
recipients. The committee will choose the number of recipients based on
the number of qualified candidates. Nominee applications will continue to
be reconsidered for two years after their original submission. After that
time, another nomination submission must be made for consideration.
Deadline: Nomination
forms may be completed now for consideration in the fall 2005.
